About

Welcome to GeneaHistory!

At GeneaHistory we specialize in Ozarks and Midwestern genealogy, as well as researching and writing about the Ozarks.  After working for many years in the accounting field, I returned to school and completed my B. A. in History and Ozark Studies from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.  It seemed a natural progression to integrate my love of history with my genealogical research.  I am currently a graduate student studying U.S. and global history, with an emphasis on Ozarks history and culture. I am available for historical and genealogical research in Greene County and most of southwest Missouri.  I am also available for researching and writing family histories. My first book, a postcard history of Springfield, will be published in 2014.
